Oba Adesoji Aderemi, Ooni of Ife Inspired Royal Groom’s Attire

A commanding celebration of Yoruba-inspired royal style, the Oba Adesoji Aderemi, Ooni of Ife Inspired Royal Groom’s Attire is a distinctive ceremonial ensemble from the TeKay Designs African & Ethnic Collection.

The centerpiece of the ensemble is a dramatic long gold Aso Oke agbada (tunic), designed with a stately, structured silhouette and richly embellished from neckline to hem. Layers of ornate gold trim and decorative detailing frame the upper bodice, while the high neckline enhances the garment’s dignified royal appearance.

An elaborate central panel becomes the focal point of the design, featuring a striking decorative motif (symbol) surrounded by intricate gold embellishment. Rows of coordinating trim continue along the lower portion and hem of the agbada (tunic), creating texture, dimension and visual richness.
